Transport Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and allocate transport with a strong focus on service levels and operational outcomes
• Ensure strict compliance with safety, compliance, and Chain of Responsibility requirements
• Manage driver and subcontractor compliance, including site inductions and license verification
• Liaise with internal teams and external transport providers to maintain efficient workflow
• Deliver professional customer service regarding pallets, returns, and specific transport requirements
• Actively promote and role-model safe behaviors to contribute to an injury-free workplace

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Transport Coordinator in supply chain logistics or transport
• Experience using transport dispatch systems to allocate loads and track movements
• Strong computer literacy for data entry, reporting, and email communication
• Ability to work Monday to Friday, 11am to 7pm
• Strong communication skills to provide clear instructions to drivers and resolve issues professionally
