About the role

Responsibilities

  • Validate daily logistics programming and volumes based on forecast data, identifying and recording any divergences.
  • Proactively solve operational issues such as vehicle no-shows or insufficient capacity to optimize the logistics network and reduce freight costs.
  • Monitor the Yard Management System (YMS) to ensure efficient vehicle flow for package expedition and receipt.
  • Conduct on-site "gemba" walks in the yard and operational areas, performing safety briefings for drivers and managing occurrences via the Frota Legal system.
  • Monitor truck arrival times, expedition schedules, and vehicle release to ensure strict adherence to delivery deadlines and SLAs.
  • Analyze operational data to generate daily performance indicators (such as %ETA, %ETD, and %OOT) and develop action plans for KPIs falling below targets.
  • Maintain updated documentation and records for internal operational excellence audits and apply root cause analysis for recurring issues.

Requirements

  • Completed higher education degree in Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, Statistics, Data Analysis, or a related field.
  • Advanced knowledge of logistics planning tools, specifically Scheduling and Yard Management Systems (YMS).
  • Proven experience using specialized forms and systems for information registration and divergence management.
  • Strong analytical capacity to interpret operational data and generate actionable insights.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and root cause analysis.
  • Availability to work the night shift (22:00 to 06:00) onsite in Ribeirão Preto - SP.
