Transmission System Stress Engineer

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical authority for critical helicopter transmission components to ensure they withstand extreme flight envelopes.
• Perform FEM simulations using Samcef to model dynamic systems.
• Validate simulation models through the definition and follow-up of flight and laboratory tests.
• Defend substantiation documents to international aviation authorities for certification purposes.
• Contribute to the evolution of calculation methodologies for next-generation rotorcraft.

Requirements

• 5-year degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in mechanical part analysis, specifically with metallic materials and RDM.
• Proven proficiency in FEM software, specifically Samcef.
• Deep expertise in static and fatigue analysis.
• Advanced proficiency in both French and English.
• Strong autonomy, rigor, and team spirit.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in crack propagation or fatigue testing.
• Knowledge of aviation authorities and certification processes.
