Transmission Operation Center Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate the electrical system under the responsibility of the Transmissora to ensure service continuity and availability of transmission lines and facilities.
• Coordinate maintenance interventions and operations of the Power Electric System (SEP) in scheduled, urgent, and emergency regimes.
• Perform basic SIN operations, including releases, maneuvers, and energizations.
• Implement and verify maneuver plans within the management system for both planned and emergency releases.
• Prepare and issue occurrence reports and operational monitoring reports for senior management.
• Manage operational tools and ensure availability of communication systems and SCADA digital supervision and control systems.
• Communicate with external operation centers and the ONS (National System Operator).

Requirements

• Technical degree in electrotechnics, electronics, electromechanics, or mechatronics.
• Previous experience in substation and transmission line operation (COS).
• Knowledge and interpretation of SIN protections.
• Experience with SCADA systems.
• Active CFT registration.
• Valid Driver's License (CNH B).
• Availability for on-call shifts (including weekends and holidays) and travel.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of SIN operation (operative messages and release requirements).
• Familiarity with ONS Network Procedures and communication with ONS.
• Knowledge of electrical diagrams and concepts of corridors and borders.
• Understanding of Regulatory Resolution 906 (Module 4).
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills and notions of Power BI, SQL, and data analysis.
