About the role
Responsibilities
- Disassemble, assemble, and inspect transmissions or valve bodies
- Clean, sandblast, and/or paint products and parts
- Preassemble products and inspect clean parts
- Pack, label, and palletize transmissions
- Perform related manufacturing tasks as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Knowledge of hand or pneumatic tools
- Experience with forklifts or pallet jacks
- Basic PC skills (navigating screens, checking inventory, using a mouse)
- Ability to read and understand work instructions in English
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a lean manufacturing environment
