Transmission Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Manage signal routing, quality control, and monitoring of all incoming and outgoing feeds for news, entertainment, and sports
• Communicate with live control rooms and remote sites to ensure seamless operations
• Provide technical direction to field crews using LiveU bonded cellular, satellite, and IP solutions
• Troubleshoot quality control issues and equipment malfunctions in a fast-paced environment
• Coordinate with Engineering and Incident Management teams to resolve outages
• Book and schedule remote facilities and transmission resources as needed

Requirements

• 1-3 years of proven experience in live-to-air television operations
• Experience working in a TOC/NOC environment with responsibility for audio, video, and data continuity
• Hands-on experience with LiveU hardware, satellite receivers, and antennas
• Proficiency with IP/ASI encoders, decoders, and video plant router control panels
• Ability to work a flexible schedule in a 24/7/365 environment, including overtime and breaking news coverage
• Strong critical thinking, diagnostic skills, and attention to detail
