Translational IHC Consultant

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with CROs to develop, optimize, and validate chromogenic IHC, mIF, and spatial Omics assays
• Define technical requirements, antibody selection, and scoring algorithms for phase-appropriate assays
• Partner with translational scientists and pathologists to translate biological questions into quantitative image-based endpoints
• Interpret data and correlate findings with clinical endpoints and peripheral biomarkers
• Provide mechanistic insights into CAR-T infiltration, immune activation, and exhaustion
• Document image processing workflows in compliance with internal SOPs
• Contribute to clinical protocols, regulatory submissions, and briefing documents

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Pathology, Immunology, Oncology, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in translational biomarker development
• Expertise in IHC/mIF assay development within oncology and immunology
• Deep understanding of the Tumor Microenvironment (TME) and immune cell phenotyping
• Proficiency in image analysis methods such as segmentation, detection, and classification
• Experience supporting clinical trials
• Proficiency in image analysis platforms like HALO, VisioPharm, or QuPath

Preferred Qualifications

• Former biopharma translational research or pathology lead experience
