About the role
Responsibilities
- Execute aircraft ground handling and servicing operations, including marshaling, parking, and positioning.
- Perform aircraft arrival and departure tasks such as chocking and grounding in accordance with Technical Orders.
- Conduct aircraft servicing and turn-around tasks to support mission readiness.
- Maintain a zero-harm workplace by adhering to flight line safety, FOD prevention, and tool control protocols.
- Perform operator-level inspections and servicing of assigned ground support equipment and vehicles.
- Assist in aircraft launch and recovery operations in coordination with Airfield Management.
- Support documentation requirements, including aircraft servicing records and shift logs.
- Operate effectively in high-tempo, austere environments and extreme weather conditions.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- 3–5 years of experience in aviation operations, aircraft maintenance, or Transient Aircraft Services.
- Hands-on experience working on a flight line or in aircraft ground operations.
- Knowledge of aircraft marshaling and ground handling procedures.
- Familiarity with flight line safety requirements and ground support equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience supporting U.S. Air Force Transient Aircraft Services (TAS) operations.
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification or equivalent military experience.
- Experience coordinating with MOC, Airfield Management, and aircraft maintenance teams.
- Familiarity with FOD programs and strict tool control compliance.
