Transformation Engineer - Software Development, AI & Quality Engineering

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable engineering solutions using AI and automation to improve software delivery and platform reliability
• Develop production-grade frameworks, services, and utilities in Python to support intelligent validation and quality controls
• Partner with engineering teams to embed quality engineering practices early in the development lifecycle (shift-left)
• Apply AI/ML techniques to optimize test generation, coverage, anomaly detection, and defect identification
• Build and enhance data validation capabilities across ETL pipelines, APIs, microservices, and streaming architecture
• Integrate intelligent quality checks into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and release confidence
• Collaborate across Technology, Risk, Compliance, and Operations to drive consistent engineering outcomes

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, data platforms, ETL, or large-scale distributed systems
• Strong hands-on development experience in Python, specifically building reusable frameworks and automation solutions
• Experience applying AI/ML or intelligent automation in engineering workflows (e.g., validation, testing, or anomaly detection)
• Strong knowledge of data systems, including ETL, batch/streaming pipelines, APIs, and microservices
• Advanced proficiency with SQL and relational databases such as Oracle and PostgreSQL
• Experience with modern automation and quality tools, including Playwright and/or Selenium
• Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps, and continuous quality engineering practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of intelligent test orchestration supporting DevOps and continuous quality gates
• Experience with AI/ML-based approaches for data quality assurance, including model validation or drift detection
• Knowledge of AI governance, explainability, and responsible AI principles in regulated environments
• Background in Financial Services, including experience with analytical workflows or regulatory processes
