About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare annual transfer pricing documentation, including Local Files, functional analyses, and financial analyses for assigned countries.
- Perform benchmarking searches and quantitative analyses using external databases and comparable company data.
- Support the monitoring of intercompany pricing results and assist in identifying potential transfer pricing adjustments.
- Coordinate with regional finance and tax stakeholders to collect financial data and validate intercompany transaction flows.
- Track country-specific compliance requirements and timelines to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
- Assist in responding to information requests from tax authorities, internal audit, or assurance teams.
- Maintain organized workpapers and documentation repositories to support audit readiness.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, business, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in financial accounting, cost accounting, intercompany analysis, or transfer pricing compliance.
- Advanced proficiency in English (written and verbal).
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret financial statements and segmented P&L data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deliverables across different jurisdictions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP.
- Familiarity with US GAAP or IFRS.
- Experience with transfer pricing jurisdictions outside of India.
- Exposure to broader international tax topics such as withholding tax or permanent establishment.
- Willingness to implement process improvements and automation.
