About the role
Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed enrollment goals for transfer, online, and re-entry student populations through strategic territory management.
- Develop and implement recruitment travel plans, including attending college fairs, community college visits, and virtual recruitment sessions.
- Build and maintain partnerships with community colleges, technical schools, and other feeder institutions.
- Review and evaluate transfer applications, transcripts, and supporting documents for accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with academic departments and the Registrar's Office to determine transfer credit equivalencies.
- Provide personalized guidance to prospective students regarding program selection, financial aid, and enrollment procedures.
- Proactively identify and address barriers to re-enrollment, such as financial holds or academic standing.
- Maintain accurate records and track performance metrics within the Slate CRM system.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- 2-4 years of admissions or enrollment management experience in higher education.
- Ability to travel regionally and out of state, including occasional evenings and weekends.
- Experience with Slate or other CRM/enrollment management systems.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to deliver presentations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with outreach to community colleges and non-traditional student populations.
- Experience in event planning for admitted students or transfer populations.
- Knowledge of the Indiana higher education transfer landscape.
- Experience performing credit articulation or equivalency evaluations.
