About the role

Responsibilities

  • Implement, maintain, and support articulation agreements and transfer information within the ASSIST database.
  • Serve as the primary campus liaison to the ASSIST Coordination Site (ACS).
  • Evaluate official transcripts to verify accreditation status and the transferability of coursework.
  • Research course applicability using online catalogs, Assist.org, and ACE accreditation guides.
  • Process non-traditional credits including AP, IB, CLEP, and military credits.
  • Utilize Banner and DegreeWorks to enter evaluated credits and adjust student reports based on approved substitutions.
  • Collaborate with Admissions, Advising, and Faculty to ensure a smooth transfer experience and resolve credit discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate student academic history and perform clerical tasks as assigned by the Registrar.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a Registrar's Office.
  • Knowledge of degree conferral policies and best practices.
  • Proficiency with DegreeWorks and Banner.
  • Experience with Transfer Evaluation Systems (TES).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with the California Community Colleges (CCC), California State University (CSU), and University of California (UC) systems.
  • Direct experience working with the ASSIST system.
  • Experience coordinating complex projects across multiple departments or institutions.
