Transfer Agency – Private Markets, Managing Director

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of the business strategy for the Transfer Agency function within Private Markets.
• Oversee service delivery for an assigned client portfolio, ensuring all deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
• Build and maintain senior relationships with key client stakeholders, serving as a trusted partner and escalation point.
• Drive operational excellence by strengthening processes, controls, and governance to support scalability and risk mitigation.
• Lead, coach, and develop managers and teams, fostering an environment of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Partner with internal stakeholders on product development, solutioning, and new business opportunities.
• Assess the effectiveness of the operating model and champion transformation opportunities involving automation and efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related field.
• 10+ years of transfer agency or financial services operations experience.
• Proven leadership experience managing complex client relationships and service delivery.
• Demonstrated business management experience in a highly regulated, service-oriented environment.
• Strong strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills with executive presence.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA, CPA, or other relevant advanced professional qualification.
• Knowledge of registered fund structures, including standalone funds and master-feeder structures.
• Experience with transfer agency platforms, servicing technology, and reporting tools.
• Understanding of technology solutions that support automation in private markets environments.
