Transfer Agency Operations Associate

Responsibilities

• Review and approve shareholder and DTC presentations for various stock transfer transactions, including routine, inheritance, gift, and restricted stock transfers.
• Process DTC transactions (DWAC & DRS), cost basis, and DRIP/DSPP plan enrollments.
• Manage new issuances of stock and other complex transfer types.
• Partner with internal departments to resolve and remediate daily operational issues.
• Assist with testing requirements for system enhancement initiatives.
• Contribute to special projects aimed at increasing unit efficiency and reducing costs.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience working in a corporate environment.
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel.
• Exceptional writing skills with the ability to draft professional and sympathetic responses.
• High level of attention to detail and the ability to recognize errors in own and others' work.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize critical items, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong critical thinking skills to interpret requests from clients, shareholders, and co-workers.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 1+ years of experience within the Transfer Agent or Financial services industry.
