About the Company

DESRI (formerly D. E. Shaw Renewable Investments) is a market-leading owner and operator of renewable energy projects throughout the United States. We have acquired or developed approximately 13 gigawatts of contracted capacity across a portfolio of over 85 renewable energy projects in 24 states.

Responsibilities

• Advise DESRI on a wide range of transactions including project acquisitions and dispositions, financings, and other transactional matters throughout a project’s lifecycle
• Counsel the team directly through drafting and negotiating documents
• Supervise outside counsel when necessary

Requirements

• At least three years of corporate law/transactional experience
• Experience managing deals and advising clients directly
• Impressive record of academic achievement
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively on complex transactions

• Renewable energy experience
