Training Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Own the full training program lifecycle from onboarding through advanced certification
• Develop and maintain training curriculum, SOPs, and assessment tools
• Supervise and develop a team of Technical Trainers through coaching and performance reviews
• Ensure compliance with IPC/WHMA-A-620 and aerospace/defense standards
• Manage technician certification tracking and audit readiness for AS9100/NADCAP
• Define and track training KPIs including time-to-certification and first-pass yield
• Partner with Engineering, Quality, and Production to align training with production needs

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in wire harness assembly or electro-mechanical manufacturing
• 5+ years as a Technical Trainer in a production environment
• 2+ years of direct people management experience
• Deep familiarity with IPC/WHMA-A-620 and aerospace/defense quality standards
• Proven ability to design and manage structured training programs
• Strong data literacy to track and act on training metrics

Preferred Qualifications

• IPC/WHMA-A-620 Certified Trainer (CIT)
• Experience managing training during manufacturing scale-ups
• Proficiency in ERP/MES systems
• Experience with AS9100 or NADCAP audit environments
• Background in instructional design or adult learning principles
