Training Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Manage the front-line training program for production workers and supervise operations trainers.
• Optimize the training calendar through coordination with recruiting and scheduling onsite activities.
• Administer, manage, and facilitate training for new and existing employees using various techniques like group discussion and role play.
• Monitor and evaluate training program effectiveness in conjunction with Operations leaders.
• Own the train-the-trainer implementation for on-shift trainers and department training leads.
• Perform safety observations, inspections, and participate in incident investigations as required.
• Enforce the use of required PPE and applicable safety/environmental rules.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years of training and facilitation experience.
• Strong program management skills and knowledge of adult learning principles.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, the Alchemy system, and LMS.
• Ability to create and present training materials in group settings.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to create efficiencies.
• Flexibility to work off-shift hours for training sessions as needed.
