Training Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Carry out training for drivers, loaders, operatives, and supervisors at recycling and waste management contracts
• Assist depots in achieving Vehicle Gate Check, Crew Monitoring, and Route Risk Assessment targets
• Mentor staff by addressing and correcting unsafe or non-compliant behaviours
• Deliver training aligned with Group Training Standards and contractual obligations
• Coach drivers to improve skills, reduce accidents, and prevent Operator Licence contraventions
• Conduct Depot-Based Training (DBT) on manual handling, vehicle defect checks, PDA usage, and tachographs

Requirements

• LGV Category C (Class 2) Driving Licence
• Valid Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)
• Working knowledge of transport and relevant legislation
• Previous waste or service industry experience
• Experience working within a time-critical service environment
• IT literacy with Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent time management skills
