Training Specialist

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement training programs, including new-hire orientation and lab-focused training
• Design, implement, and maintain department training materials and modules
• Oversee training matrices, schedules, job code structures, and training scrums
• Partner with management and subject matter experts (SMEs) to standardize and improve training processes
• Identify training gaps and assist with quality investigations to address regulatory findings and CAPA needs
• Coach, mentor, and conduct train-the-trainer sessions for hands-on trainers
• Manage various training projects to ensure deadlines and compliance standards are met

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with applicable experience, OR AA/AS with 1 year of experience, OR High School Diploma with 3 years of experience
• Knowledge of ADDIE or other training development models
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, etc.) and project management tools (e.g., Gantt Charts, Trello, Agile, or SCRUM)
• Strong training, presentation, and mentoring skills
• Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work in a professional office and laboratory environment, including wearing required PPE

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous laboratory experience
• Demonstrated proficiency in training employees in a technical or scientific setting
• Ongoing progressive education or certification in training disciplines
