About the role

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate training initiatives including new hire, refresher, and ad hoc training for the Pre-Service Division
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, workflows, and training materials
  • Coach and mentor learning liaisons and staff on standardized workflow processes
  • Identify training needs using Quality Assurance data and trends
  • Perform periodic account reviews for quality assurance during the first 90 days of new hire employment
  • Support end users during system go-lives, upgrades, and efficiency training initiatives
  • Participate in user acceptance testing as a Subject Matter Expert (SME)
  • Utilize Lean principles to improve processes and reduce waste

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Health Information Technology, Instructional Design, Training, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of healthcare training or operational experience
  • Thorough knowledge of health insurance, third-party payers, and government regulations
  • Strong computer literacy and ability to master complex applications and workflows
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience facilitating training initiatives and creating end-user materials
  • Knowledge of LEAN methodology
  • Current CPC (Certified Professional Coder) certification
  • Ability to interpret medical terminology and insurance benefit information
