Training Policy SME

Responsibilities

• Implement training policy and guidance across HQ CFC and subordinate organizations
• Research, analyze, and recommend updates to Advanced Training policy
• Coordinate and submit formal course change requests to HQ STARCOM
• Collect and prioritize Delta Advanced Training requirements
• Plan and execute Advanced Training events and exercises
• Assess Deltas’ ability to meet training requirements and Mission Essential Tasks
• Oversee and facilitate meetings, forums, summits, and working groups to support the Annual Training Cycle
• Coordinate Total Force training policy and guidance

Requirements

• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI and SAP eligibility
• 3 years of experience in training, education, and/or weapons and tactics
• Firm understanding of space capabilities
• Headquarters experience in the US Space Force, USAF, Combatant Command, CFC, STARCOM, or equivalent
• Experience providing strategic advice, technical guidance, and analysis
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work professionally with military senior leaders and action officers

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with US Space Force weapon systems and missions
• Experience with Joint- or Service-level weapons and tactics development
• BA/BS degree (5+ years of relevant experience may substitute)
• Proficiency with Enterprise Task Management Tools
