Training Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership of the training function to ensure compliance with aviation security legislation, regulatory frameworks, and Approved Transport Security Programs (TSPs).
• Oversee the design, delivery, and quality assurance of competency-based training programs for Aviation Protection Officers.
• Establish and manage audit and assurance frameworks to monitor training effectiveness and instructor quality.
• Proactively identify, manage, and escalate training and compliance risks, implementing effective corrective action plans.
• Lead and develop the training team, promoting a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
• Drive the implementation of national training frameworks and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience leading and delivering training programs within a highly regulated environment.
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent).
• Possession of, or willingness to obtain, a Cert II in Transport Security Protection (TSP).
• Proven ability to manage training across large, complex organisations.
• Strong computer literacy and experience with training management systems.
• Excellent written and oral communication and negotiation skills.
• Aviation industry experience is highly desirable.
