Training Manager - Beverage

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the vision, mission, and strategy for Beverage Academy programs in alignment with luxury service philosophies
• Design and oversee comprehensive training programs covering wines, spirits, cocktails, coffee, tea, and responsible alcohol service
• Lead and inspire a diverse team of trainers and beverage professionals to deliver world-class education
• Create specialized development programs for bartenders, bar supervisors, sommeliers, and beverage leaders
• Partner with HR and Learning & Development to integrate beverage training into employee career paths
• Develop and maintain beverage training standards, SOPs, and learning materials to ensure consistency and compliance
• Monitor performance metrics to measure the impact of training on beverage quality, guest satisfaction, and sales
• Mentor beverage employees to nurture future leaders and establish cross-training initiatives across all outlets
• Manage the beverage training budget and track the ROI of training initiatives

Requirements

• 8–10 years of progressive beverage leadership experience in luxury hotels, resorts, or high-end hospitality institutions
• Proven expertise in wines, spirits, cocktails, coffee, tea, and luxury beverage service standards
• Strong background in beverage education, training program design, and talent development
• Excellent leadership, coaching, and communication skills with multicultural teams
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to connect training to revenue performance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience aligned with Forbes Travel Guide Standards
• Professional beverage certifications from recognized institutions (wine, spirits, coffee, etc.)
