Training Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical instruction on mechanical and fluid power topics to local industry and business clients
• Develop, build, and update technical curriculum to meet evolving employer demands
• Identify and implement technical training needs by collaborating with manufacturing and process industries
• Facilitate cooperative relationships with outside agencies and business partners
• Coordinate and support part-time instructors
• Travel throughout northwest Ohio to deliver training at client locations as needed

Requirements

• Associate's degree (or equivalent education/experience) in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering technology, or the maintenance field
• At least 5 years of experience maintaining and troubleshooting mechanical systems in a manufacturing environment
• Working knowledge of industrial mechanical systems and fluid power (pneumatics and hydraulics)
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to manage people and projects in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in developing and delivering industrial training
• Experience mentoring co-workers
