About the role
Responsibilities
- Deliver technical instruction on mechanical and fluid power topics to local industry and business clients
- Develop, build, and update technical curriculum to meet evolving employer demands
- Identify and implement technical training needs by collaborating with manufacturing and process industries
- Facilitate cooperative relationships with outside agencies and business partners
- Coordinate and support part-time instructors
- Travel throughout northwest Ohio to deliver training at client locations as needed
Requirements
- Associate's degree (or equivalent education/experience) in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering technology, or the maintenance field
- At least 5 years of experience maintaining and troubleshooting mechanical systems in a manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of industrial mechanical systems and fluid power (pneumatics and hydraulics)
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to manage people and projects in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in developing and delivering industrial training
- Experience mentoring co-workers
