Training Coordinator- Electrical & Automation

Responsibilities

• Instruct industrial automation courses to local industry and business clients.
• Develop, revise, and update technical curriculum covering topics such as Electrical Basics, PLCs (Allen Bradley & Siemens), HMIs, and Process Control.
• Identify and implement technical training needs by collaborating with manufacturing and process industries.
• Partner with Custom Training Solutions sales personnel to plan and organize technical training offerings.
• Coordinate and support part-time instructors to ensure quality delivery of skills training.
• Maintain cooperative relationships with outside agencies and business partners.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or equivalent education and/or experience in manufacturing (maintenance, controls, robotics, or engineering technology).
• At least 5 years of experience designing and maintaining automation systems in a manufacturing or process environment.
• Working knowledge of industrial automation systems and software, including PLCs, HMIs, Instrumentation, and Factory Floor Networking.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing maintenance, troubleshooting, and electrical systems.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong customer service abilities.
• Ability to manage people, projects, and travel throughout northwest Ohio as required by client needs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in delivering and developing industrial training programs.
• Previous experience mentoring co-workers in a technical environment.
