About the role

Responsibilities

  • Partner with R&D leadership, EHS, Quality, and Facilities teams to identify training needs and align programs with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive Training Requirements Matrix for all job roles and topics.
  • Administer the site’s electronic learning management system (LMS), including assigning modules, scheduling courses, and monitoring completion.
  • Maintain accurate training records and provide regular metrics on compliance, requalification, and refresher courses.
  • Coordinate and conduct onboarding, safety, and technical training for new hires.
  • Develop and implement various instructional methods, including hands-on workshops, mentoring programs, and simulations.
  • Market and communicate available training opportunities to all R&D staff.

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree (or higher) in a relevant field such as science, engineering, business, training, or office administration.
  • 3-5 years of experience supporting training programs in technical, laboratory, or regulated environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SharePoint.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), preferably in a laboratory, R&D, or industrial setting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, technical, or training-related discipline.
  • Experience developing training programs in R&D, pilot plants, or highly regulated environments.
  • Experience with compliance and audit processes for training documentation.
  • Knowledge of lab safety and workplace safety protocols (e.g., lockout-tagout, fall protection).
