About the role
Responsibilities
- Partner with R&D leadership, EHS, Quality, and Facilities teams to identify training needs and align programs with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive Training Requirements Matrix for all job roles and topics.
- Administer the site’s electronic learning management system (LMS), including assigning modules, scheduling courses, and monitoring completion.
- Maintain accurate training records and provide regular metrics on compliance, requalification, and refresher courses.
- Coordinate and conduct onboarding, safety, and technical training for new hires.
- Develop and implement various instructional methods, including hands-on workshops, mentoring programs, and simulations.
- Market and communicate available training opportunities to all R&D staff.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree (or higher) in a relevant field such as science, engineering, business, training, or office administration.
- 3-5 years of experience supporting training programs in technical, laboratory, or regulated environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SharePoint.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), preferably in a laboratory, R&D, or industrial setting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, technical, or training-related discipline.
- Experience developing training programs in R&D, pilot plants, or highly regulated environments.
- Experience with compliance and audit processes for training documentation.
- Knowledge of lab safety and workplace safety protocols (e.g., lockout-tagout, fall protection).
