Training and Development Lead

Responsibilities

• Conduct role-by-role competency analyses across global operations functions to identify knowledge gaps
• Design end-to-end learning journeys from onboarding through advanced mastery, ensuring alignment with safety-critical standards
• Build and maintain a scalable curriculum including instructor-led courses, e-learning, simulations, and hands-on labs
• Partner with engineering, product, and field operations leaders to translate technical subject matter into high-impact training
• Implement and manage a Learning Management System (LMS) to deliver and track training across global sites
• Develop certification frameworks to validate readiness for safety-critical operations tasks
• Establish measurement frameworks to evaluate training effectiveness and report ROI to leadership
• Recruit and mentor a growing team of instructional designers and training coordinators

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Organizational Development, Education Technology, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience designing and deploying training programs at scale
• 3+ years of experience in the autonomous vehicle, ADAS, robotics, or a comparable safety-critical industry
• Deep expertise in instructional design methodologies such as ADDIE or SAM
• Proven experience selecting and administering LMS platforms and digital learning tools
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical leaders
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally to support global training deployments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building training for vehicle operations, test operations, or fleet management
• Familiarity with ADAS/AD toolchains, simulation platforms, or data labeling pipelines
• Experience with immersive learning formats including VR/AR-based training simulations
