Trainer

Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one training with new hires on receiving, order picking, packing, shipping, and replenishment processes.
• Ensure all training paperwork is accurately completed and documented in compliance with standard operating procedures (SOP).
• Partner with management, leads, and quality assurance teams to provide ongoing coaching and continual training for current associates.
• Perform regular observations of associates to ensure SOP compliance and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
• Act as a mentor to both new hires and existing team members to promote professional development.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following safety protocols and reporting potential hazards to management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of directly related experience or 3 years of related experience.
• Basic computer skills and strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to identify training gaps.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision.
• Physical ability to lift 10 to 55 pounds and stand/walk for 6 to 12 hours a day.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working in a distribution center or warehouse environment.
• Bilingual skills (English and Spanish/French/etc.).
