Trainer II

Responsibilities

• Train, coach, and develop new, transferred, and underperforming associates to meet productivity, quality, safety, and performance standards.
• Communicate job requirements, sewing specifications, quality expectations, and safety policies to associates.
• Monitor trainee progress, inspect work output, and provide constructive feedback to ensure standard work practices are applied.
• Maintain accurate training records, documentation, and tools to support compliance and effective training.
• Provide regular progress updates and recommendations to management and supervisors regarding trainee readiness.
• Partner with the Engineering department to implement and train new methods, processes, and operational improvements.
• Ensure workstations, equipment, and materials are properly prepared to support successful training outcomes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5 years of sewing experience or the ability to perform multiple sewing operations.
• 2 years of experience in a training or manufacturing environment.
• Basic math skills and ability to perform calculations.
• Basic computer skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of various sewing operations.
