Trainee Store Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Complete an 18-month on-the-job training program across various stores, including international rotations
• Undergo 1-2 months of induction to learn all departments and processes
• Serve 2 months as a Department Manager to gain leadership experience
• Complete a 2-month central phase in Düsseldorf to learn central departments like purchasing
• Participate in a 1-month optional international rotation
• Spend 12 months shadowing Store Managers and Operations Managers to prepare for a permanent role
• Transition into a Store Operations Manager role, taking economic responsibility for approximately half of a store's assortment

Requirements

• Successfully completed degree in Business Administration or a comparable field of study
• Experience in retail (e.g., vocational training in retail/wholesale or student jobs)
• High degree of flexibility and mobility for various locations within the region
• Passion for food and the retail industry
• Enjoyment in interacting with gastronomy customers
• Analytical skills and strong affinity for numbers
• Very good German language skills (C1)
