Trainee Process Operator

Responsibilities

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and perform fault diagnosis on plant equipment
• Conduct equipment maintenance and update operating procedures
• Respond to incidents and emergencies as required
• Issue permits to ensure work is carried out safely by others
• Maintain the safety, integrity, and efficient operation of local equipment

Requirements

• Must be over 18 years old by 28th September 2026
• Hold a valid UK manual driving license
• Willingness to work at height and use safety equipment, including breathing apparatus
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts (Days & Nights)
• Strong numeracy skills and computer literacy
• Commitment to high safety standards and effective teamwork

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on craft skills (e.g., mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or metals)
• Experience in emergency response (e.g., retained firefighting or RNLI)
• Operational leadership experience (e.g., military)
• Previous experience working in a similar industrial complex
