Trainee Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Complete an 18-month training program including on-the-job training in various stores and abroad
• Rotate through different roles including department management and central department training in Düsseldorf
• Shadow store managers to learn various leadership styles and focuses
• Prepare for the target position of Operations Manager (Betriebsleiter), taking economic responsibility for approximately half of a store's assortment

Requirements

• Successfully completed degree in Business Administration or a comparable field of study
• Experience in retail (e.g., vocational training or student jobs)
• High degree of flexibility and mobility for regional rotations
• Passion for food and the retail industry
• Analytical skills and strong affinity for numbers
• Very good German language skills (C1)
