Trainee in Global Purchasing Department - Commodity Castings

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience with purchasing systems and tools used in the automotive industry
• Support sourcing activities to identify, evaluate, and develop supplier markets
• Learn about pricing structures and contribute to price list management and updates
• Participate in supplier onboarding processes and supplier relationship management
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers across the ZF network
• Develop strong communication, data collection, and analytical skills to support decision-making

Requirements

• University degree or currently pursuing higher education (Engineering, Logistics, Economics, or related disciplines preferred)
• Good command of English, both written and spoken (minimum B1/B2 level)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially MS Excel
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Proactive attitude, independence, and commitment to assigned tasks
• Knowledge of additional foreign languages is considered a plus
