Trainee Calibration Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform calibration, testing, and servicing of equipment at customer sites
• Travel to client locations and support on-site service work
• Assist experienced engineers during the onboarding period
• Learn and apply technical procedures, standards, and best practices
• Complete service documentation and reports accurately and thoroughly
• Communicate professionally with customers and technical teams
• Ensure all work meets quality and compliance standards

Requirements

• Strong hands-on technical aptitude (mechanical, electrical, or similar)
• Willingness to travel and work in the field regularly
• Ability to learn and apply technical concepts over time
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and follow-through
• Detail-oriented with the ability to complete accurate documentation
• Right to work in the United Kingdom

Preferred Qualifications

• Background as a mechanical or electrical technician
• Experience in field service or equipment repair
• Experience in manufacturing or production environments
• Military technical experience
