Train Validation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) regarding train validation activities
• Define validation budgets during tender phases and ensure adherence throughout the project lifecycle
• Develop and execute validation plans, procedures, and associated technical reports
• Ensure strict safety protocols are followed during type testing
• Manage internal test teams and coordinate with external test laboratories
• Plan and coordinate type tests at the train level
• Maintain continuous and effective communication with end clients and stakeholders
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of validation processes and methodologies

Requirements

• Degree in engineering or an equivalent technical qualification
• Significant experience in project management, specifically within testing or validation environments
• Fluency in both French and English (written and spoken)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple interfaces
• Strong orientation toward safety and quality standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior knowledge or experience within the railway sector
