Train Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on various train models (X11, X12, and X14) at the Gothenburg depot.
• Execute maintenance, fault rectification, and modifications on vehicles according to technical instructions.
• Assess the operational safety status of vehicles to ensure passenger security and health.
• Register and document technical information, including corrective actions and materials used, in company systems.
• Collaborate with troubleshooting specialists to identify and correct electrical faults.
• Ensure strict compliance with environmental, health, safety, and quality policies (ISO 9001, ISO 14001).

Requirements

• Technical background or strong passion for electricity, engineering, and troubleshooting.
• Experience or understanding of technical work within the aviation, industrial, automotive, or similar sectors.
• Ability to assemble and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and digital control components following drawings and instructions.
• Fluency in Swedish (both written and spoken) is required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a shift-based environment, including holiday shifts.
• Must be able to pass a medical health examination.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience or knowledge within the railway industry.
• Advanced knowledge of electrical systems and complex fault diagnosis.
