Train System Team Leader

Responsibilities

• Lead the train system team in Saint-Bruno, overseeing engineering methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Support the team in problem-solving and defining priorities involving internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure design reviews are prepared, documented, and tracked according to project schedules.
• Manage team development, aligning capacity, workload, and skills with project needs.
• Allocate team resources to various projects, programs, and site tenders.
• Monitor team progress and alert management of any issues impacting QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) commitments.
• Ensure Alstom engineering rules and processes are understood and applied within the team.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of Train System business practices.

Requirements

• Engineering degree or Master's in engineering from a recognized institution.
• Membership in the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
• 3+ years of experience in team management.
• Experience or strong understanding of railway engineering and train development projects.
• Fluency in both French and English.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
