Train System Engineer (TCMS)

Responsibilities

• Participate in defining TCMS architectures including technical specifications, interfaces, and safety requirements
• Write and validate technical documents such as specifications and safety files
• Supervise subsystem integration (electronics, software, network) and lead testing in labs, test benches, or the field
• Ensure compliance with railway standards (EN 50126, EN 50128, EN 50129)
• Collaborate with client teams, suppliers, and internal electronics/software/cybersecurity teams
• Analyze field feedback and propose corrective solutions
• Monitor evolutions in railway standards and embedded technologies like IoT and AI

Requirements

• Engineering degree (Bac+5) in embedded systems, automation, electronics, or equivalent
• 3 to 5 years of experience in system engineering, ideally in railway, aerospace, or automotive sectors
• Experience with configuration management tools like DOORS, SVN, or Git
• Proficiency in SysML or UML methodologies
• Knowledge of TCMS or control-command systems is a major asset
• Mastery of railway standards (EN 5012x, CENELEC)
• Fluent technical English
