About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the integration of Train System methodologies, tools, and processes to deliver high-quality rail solutions
- Manage team development, capacity, and workload to ensure alignment with project needs and QCD commitments
- Support the team in resolving technical and stakeholder issues and assist in defining priorities
- Ensure design reviews are prepared, documented, and followed up according to project schedules
- Allocate team resources to various projects, programs, and tenders at the site
- Ensure Alstom engineering rules and processes are understood and applied within the team
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of Train System Metier rules and practices
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering or Master of Engineering from a University or Engineering School
- Membership in the OIQ (Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec)
- 3+ years of experience in team management
- Experience or strong understanding of train engineering and train development projects
- Fluency in both French and English
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and proactive problem-solving skills
