Train Performance Manager

Responsibilities

• Act as the main technical focal point for the customer regarding train performance topics.
• Lead the train system development and validation processes, including operability analysis, system definition, and architecture.
• Convert customer and regulatory requirements into comprehensive train-level requirements and specifications.
• Lead functional analysis and specification at the system level in collaboration with Sub-Systems Groups.
• Manage requirements specification and allocation to the sub-system level, including electrical and functional interfaces.
• Support System and Sub-Systems Engineers to ensure designs converge toward specified targets throughout the project life cycle.
• Lead verification and validation activities at the system level.
• Resolve technical open issues during train revenue service, from initial investigation to modification implementation and closure.

Requirements

• Fluent business English.
• Strong technical management skills.
• Proven ability to lead a project team and foster communication between multiple stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in complex environments.
• Ability to switch effectively between a problem-oriented perspective and a solution-oriented perspective.
• Readiness to travel as required.
