About the role
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the technical integration of train subsystems and mechanical design zones
- Develop mechanical installation solutions and manage interface resolutions for space constraints
- Produce and validate 2D drawings and 3D models
- Participate in design reviews and monitor technical modifications
- Provide manufacturing support to assembly teams and resolve field issues
- Ensure compliance with client requirements, railway standards, and GD&T
- Manage Engineering Change Requests (ECR) and Engineering Change Orders (ECO)
- Optimize integration, maintainability, and manufacturability through continuous improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or an equivalent field
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and the integration of complex systems
- Strong knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
- Experience with 3D modeling and technical documentation management
