About the role

Responsibilities

  • Define and manage mechanical interfaces between the train and its subsystems to ensure proper volume allocation and functional compliance
  • Oversee digital mock-up (DMU) management, tolerance analysis, and perceived quality initiatives
  • Organize and facilitate collaboration between project teams, industrialization, and other key stakeholders
  • Ensure consistency in cross-functional performance metrics, including weight and dimensions, in compliance with industry standards
  • Participate in the validation and certification processes of the train through physical mock-ups and verification plans
  • Drive continuous improvement in mechanical integration processes and share lessons learned across the organization

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Experience or strong understanding of mechanical integration and interface management
  • Knowledge of digital mock-up (DMU) tools and processes
  • Familiarity with tolerancing and perceived quality activities
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage cross-functional projects and drive innovation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in mechanical or systems engineering
