About the role

Responsibilities

  • Define and manage mechanical interfaces between the train and its various subsystems
  • Coordinate collaboration between project teams, technical departments, and industrialization teams
  • Manage and update the Digital Mock-Up (DMU) and oversee tolerancing and perceived quality activities
  • Ensure consistency of transverse performance metrics, such as weight and gauge, in compliance with technical standards
  • Participate in train validation and certification by managing physical mock-ups and verification plans
  • Maintain decision books and stack-up analyses to ensure full traceability of technical decisions
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of mechanical integration processes and share lessons learned

Requirements

  • Degree in mechanical engineering or a related technical field
  • Knowledge of mechanical integration processes and interface management
  • Proficiency in CAD tools and experience with Digital Mock-Up (DMU) management
  • Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Strong technical project management and team coordination skills
  • Excellent communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Ability to analyze and optimize transverse performance parameters like weight and gauge
