Train Manager

Responsibilities

• Monitor the safe transport of passengers throughout the entire route
• Act as the primary point of contact for passengers, providing first-class onboard service
• Control tickets and support onboard ticket sales
• Accompany the shunting, setting up, and decommissioning of the train fleet
• Independently perform technical checks, including wagon inspections and brake tests
• Actively contribute to a positive travel experience and help improve service processes

Requirements

• Completed qualification as train personnel (e.g., Train Manager/Train Conductor)
• Ideally qualified to perform brake and wagon testing (refresher courses available)
• Proficiency in German; basic English skills are an advantage
• Willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
• Willingness to travel nationwide and stay overnight (travel, meals, and accommodation provided)
• Service-oriented personality with strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
