About the role
Responsibilities
- Drive locomotives and operate trains safely and efficiently
- Comply with Qube Rail Safety Management Procedures and Systems
- Mentor Trainee Drivers and Second Persons
- Participate in safety meetings, training, and toolbox talks
- Demonstrate and disseminate a positive safety culture
Requirements
- Certificate IV in Train Driving (Freight)
- Experience in a rail safety critical environment
- Availability for a dynamic 24/7 shift roster
- Current Driver’s Licence and ability to provide history
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Good general level of health and fitness
