Train Driver

Responsibilities

• Operate passenger trains independently and safely in compliance with all regulations
• Control trains across the nationwide FlixTrain network
• Communicate reliably with the control center, colleagues, and passengers
• Ensure punctual and economical train operations
• Perform preparatory and concluding activities to ensure operational readiness
• Support operations during weekends and holidays through flexible shift schedules
• Contribute to positive and professional passenger communication

Requirements

• Completed training as a locomotive driver (TfV Class A+B1 or VDV 753 Class 3)
• High sense of safety and responsibility
• Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Strong communication skills and service orientation
• Team player with a motivation to contribute to sustainable mobility

Preferred Qualifications

• Several years of experience in railway operations, preferably in passenger transport
• Knowledge of routes starting from Cologne
