Train Dispatcher

Responsibilities

• Coordinate vehicles and train personnel for daily rail operations
• Make operational decisions during disruptions, delays, and special situations
• Document incidents and communicate effectively with management and operations levels
• Provide active passenger information during service deviations
• Ensure quality and safety throughout the operational process
• Work in a regulated 24/7 shift system (including nights, weekends, and holidays)
• Mentor and support new colleagues during their onboarding process

Requirements

• Fluent German language skills (minimum C1 level)
• Experience in dispatching, preferably in long-distance rail, rail operations, or traffic control
• Strong decision-making skills and the ability to remain resilient under pressure
• Structured and solution-oriented way of working
• Proficiency with MS Office, email, and PC systems
• Availability for shift work, including nights and weekends
• English language skills are a plus
