Train Control Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Train Control Engineers (TCE) responsible for coordinating technical activities throughout the project V-cycle.
• Deploy standardized processes, methodologies, and tools to ensure team efficiency.
• Define, develop, and share reusable "design models" within the domain.
• Ensure optimal allocation of human and material resources to meet project needs.
• Implement continuous improvement approaches for train control engineering.
• Support the development and validation of quotes for tenders, projects, or platforms.
• Provide technical and procedural support to various project teams.
• Define reliable and secure architectures, including functional distribution between software and hardware.

Requirements

• Engineering degree or a related field.
• Experience or strong understanding of train control systems, software engineering, or systems engineering.
• Knowledge of V-cycle methodologies and processes.
• Familiarity with resource management and skill development.
• Project management or technical leadership certification.
• Strong communication and team leadership skills.
• Ability to manage cross-functional networks and foster collaboration.
