About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Train Control Engineers (TCE) responsible for coordinating technical activities throughout the project V-cycle.
- Deploy standardized processes, methodologies, and tools to ensure team efficiency.
- Define, develop, and share reusable "design models" within the domain.
- Ensure optimal allocation of human and material resources to meet project needs.
- Implement continuous improvement approaches for train control engineering.
- Support the development and validation of quotes for tenders, projects, or platforms.
- Provide technical and procedural support to various project teams.
- Define reliable and secure architectures, including functional distribution between software and hardware.
Requirements
- Engineering degree or a related field.
- Experience or strong understanding of train control systems, software engineering, or systems engineering.
- Knowledge of V-cycle methodologies and processes.
- Familiarity with resource management and skill development.
- Project management or technical leadership certification.
- Strong communication and team leadership skills.
- Ability to manage cross-functional networks and foster collaboration.
