About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of Train Control Engineers (TCE) acting as technical coordinators for project activities.
- Deploy standard processes, methodologies, and tools to ensure team efficiency and technical excellence.
- Manage resource allocation, including personnel and tools, to meet project work-package requirements.
- Define and develop reusable design models and robust, safe architectures (hardware/software distribution).
- Support technical solutions for tenders, projects, and platforms, including cost and process improvements.
- Define annual training objectives and manage the professional development of the engineering team.
- Monitor team performance using KPIs and conduct regular reviews with the TCE Domain Leader.
Requirements
- Engineering degree in electrical, electronic, mechanical, or an equivalent field.
- Proven experience in team management or technical coordination within an industrial environment.
- Knowledge of design and validation processes within the rail industry or a similar complex engineering sector.
- Familiarity with project management tools and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multicultural teams.
- Fluency in English (both written and oral).
