About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of Train Control and Information Systems (TC&IS) bids, ensuring high-quality techno-commercial offers.
  • Define and validate TCMS and PACIS architecture and development plans.
  • Manage interfaces with various subsystems including electrical components, CCTV, Multimedia, and TCMS.
  • Conduct gap analyses, risk assessments, and maintain the risk registry.
  • Maximize standardization and the reuse of proven design patterns within tender outputs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including System Engineering and Bid Managers, for tender preparation and costing reviews.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8-12 years of experience in Train Control design within railway or safety-critical industrial domains.
  • Deep understanding of Train Control and Information Systems (TC&IS).
  • Knowledge of software quality assurance and system engineering principles.
  • Familiarity with electrical schematics and product definitions.
  • Experience with industry standards including IEC 61375, EN50128, and EN50129.
  • Proficiency in network and communication protocols such as RS232, RS485, UDP, MVB, Ethernet, CAN, RTP, RTSP, HTTP, and VoIP.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP or equivalent professional certification.
  • Experience with real-time, distributed controllers and safety-critical software development.
